Mail Officer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mail Officer to join our team. As a Mail Officer, you will be responsible for manually sorting mail in preparation for delivery the next day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sorting mail articles that cannot be machine sorted
  • Loading and unloading mail from mail bags, trays, containers, and metal cages (Unit Loading Devices)
  • Operating sophisticated processing equipment and lines
  • Assisting with the processing of standard letters, large letters, small parcels, and Express Post articles

About You:

  • Flexibility with working additional hours if required
  • Excellent memory and attention to detail
  • Able to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly
