Job Role: Lifestyle Lead/Lifestyle Coordinator

Location: Camberwell, Victoria

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

We are seeking a passionate and caring individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Leader. In this role, you will lead the implementation and improvement of a creative and engaging lifestyle program that supports residents to live their best life and achieve personal goals.

A typical day:

  • Coordinating recreational activities and social programs that enhance resident well-being.
  • Providing direction and leadership to a Lifestyle Assistant.
  • Assisting each resident individually in accordance with the lifestyle plan document and ensuring accurate information is recorded.
  • Ensuring all programs meet both resident needs and accreditation standards.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of our residents and their families.
  • Engaging our residents and encouraging them to participate in local community activities.
  • Assisting with meaningful and enriching activities that provide choice to each person.

Requirements:

  • Experience in designing and delivering recreational and social activities and programs in aged care homes or similar settings.
  • Leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for working in aged care and using this passion to engage and connect with residents and their families.
  • Empathy and ability to build strong connections with residents and their loved ones.
  • Certificate III/IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or qualifications in community development are highly desirable.
  • Current Driver's Licence (desirable).
