Our current project involves seeking experienced professionals for Casual Rail Welders positions in Sydney NSW. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Rail-specific duties may include:

  • Ensuring welding tasks meet required standards
  • Determining the method and sequence of welding operations
  • Preparing rail for repair and maintenance work on tracks
  • Completing necessary documentation such as welding and adjustment returns

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated experience working in the rail construction industry
  • Current Thermit Welding Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Certificate 2 in Rail Infrastructure
  • Hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) and Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card
  • Valid Drivers Licence Class 'C' or 'HR'
  • Ability to pass a CAT3 medical and comprehensive functional screening
  • Hold a current Sydney Trains CON number
