About the Role
Sanctuary Care, a subsidiary of Mounties Group, provides in-home care services to enable clients to live independently with support. We are seeking a compassionate and nurturing Community Support Worker to join our team in Currumbin, QLD, on a Casual or Part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany clients during daily activities, including running errands and outings
- Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping
- Support with personal care and hygiene, such as showering and dressing
- Perform household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and ironing
- Provide social interaction and companionship
- Transport clients to appointments
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
- At least one year of experience in aged care or disability
- A current COVID-19 vaccination
- A current Police Check or willingness to obtain
- A current First Aid Certificate, including CPR, or willingness to obtain
- A reliable vehicle and relevant insurances
- A dementia care qualification (desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
