We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our team at Collins Foods Limited. You will be responsible for taking ownership of testing new releases for our recently implemented time and attendance system, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data analysis and report writing to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements
- Responding to queries, including award interpretation and system advice, to ensure accurate and timely resolution
- End of month processing as required, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
- Documenting payroll and system-related procedures and checklists to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency
About You
To be successful as a Senior Payroll Officer, you will have previous experience in high-volume payroll environments and demonstrate a high degree of comfort in working with payroll and time and attendance systems. You will have a sound knowledge of payroll-related legislation, including superannuation, tax, and Fair Work, and pride yourself on your attention to detail and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Sound experience working in payroll systems, preferably with Preceda
- High level of numeracy and analytical skills to analyze data and identify trends
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel to create complex reports and dashboards
- Experience with documenting payroll procedures to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Experience with payroll reporting tools, such as Crystal reporting, to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements
