Electrical Infrastructure Manager

As an AusNet Services Ltd Team Leader, Access & Outage Planning, you will lead impactful programs in Access & Outage Planning, drive compliance and reliability in critical energy infrastructure, and contribute to the clean energy transition.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver scheduled outages, ensuring safety, compliance, and minimal disruption to our network.
- Promote a positive, productive work environment through mentorship and coaching.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including customer notification protocols.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Monitor and maintain high performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) targets.
- Support continuous improvement of network accuracy and customer experience.
- Contribute to data accuracy and risk mitigation in all planned outages.
- Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing within the Access & Outage Planning team.
Requirements:
- Experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in an operational or planning role.
- At least 2 years in a leadership position, mentoring and developing team members.
- Strong understanding of electricity distribution networks and compliance standards.
- Problem-solving skills and experience managing complex challenges.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards, including the Code of Practice on Electrical Safety.
