The Inventory Management Coordinator will oversee the purchasing process, develop operational systems and processes to achieve goals, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct a high-performing purchasing team.
- Develop strong decision-making, problem-solving, and team motivation skills.
- Enhance planning, organisational, and administrative skills with demonstrated effectiveness in developing tasks and achieving goals.
- Improve interpersonal skills.
- Effectively manage time with the ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously.
- Deliver high-level customer service skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with various stakeholders.
- High level of computer literacy, including experience using a purchasing and inventory management system. Proficient computer skills are required.
- Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify errors and issues and develop effective solutions.
- Valid Australian Driver's licence.
- Forklift licence.
- Experience in managing and leading a team (desired).
- Experience in procurement and inventory management (minimum of 3+ years desired).
- Understand best practice regarding inventory management, purchasing and dispatch.
- Understand compliance requirements in relation to materials, inventory management chain of responsibility.
- Experience working with a computerised ERP environment, preferably Pronto and Therefore.
- A certificate in Warehouse and Supply Chain Management.
- The ability to pass a Pre-employment medical, including Drug and Alcohol screen.
- Experience with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word & Excel.
- Excellent presentation, organisation and communication skills.
- Have a strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines.
