Job Overview

The Inventory Management Coordinator will oversee the purchasing process, develop operational systems and processes to achieve goals, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct a high-performing purchasing team.
  • Develop strong decision-making, problem-solving, and team motivation skills.
  • Enhance planning, organisational, and administrative skills with demonstrated effectiveness in developing tasks and achieving goals.
  • Improve interpersonal skills.
  • Effectively manage time with the ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously.
  • Deliver high-level customer service skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • High level of computer literacy, including experience using a purchasing and inventory management system. Proficient computer skills are required.
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify errors and issues and develop effective solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid Australian Driver's licence.
  • Forklift licence.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team (desired).
  • Experience in procurement and inventory management (minimum of 3+ years desired).
  • Understand best practice regarding inventory management, purchasing and dispatch.
  • Understand compliance requirements in relation to materials, inventory management chain of responsibility.
  • Experience working with a computerised ERP environment, preferably Pronto and Therefore.
  • A certificate in Warehouse and Supply Chain Management.
  • The ability to pass a Pre-employment medical, including Drug and Alcohol screen.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • Excellent presentation, organisation and communication skills.
  • Have a strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines.
