The Senior Financial Strategist will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and commercial excellence within the Cement Production business unit. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading strategic development and large-scale capital expenditure planning to optimize operational efficiency and drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategy development and large-scale capital expenditure planning to improve operational efficiency and drive profitable growth
  • Ensure the integrity of financial results and own monthly actuals & variance, quarterly forecast, and annual budget process for Cement – Operations (Production)
  • Build financial capability across the team, supporting understanding of key commercial drivers, productivity, asset efficiency, supply vs. demand, investment, and projects
  • Deliver data-driven decision-making support and ensure the business is updated and engaged on the achievement and delivery of financial targets and strategies
  • Provide sound financial insight to operations to deliver profitable and sustainable growth across their business unit, including determining cost-effectiveness of growth strategies and ensuring approved capital investments deliver on benefits
About You
  • A commercially focused and experienced finance professional with a strong track record of delivering improvement in performance through provision of financial leadership and insight
  • A resilient and energized leader who proactively seeks solutions and drives change
  • Strong growth mindset with a proven commitment to achieving strong financial, investment, and performance results
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business, Finance, or Economics, with CA/CPA qualifications preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver improvement in performance through provision of financial leadership and insight, with a focus on driving profitable growth and operational efficiency
