The Senior Financial Strategist will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and commercial excellence within the Cement Production business unit. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading strategic development and large-scale capital expenditure planning to optimize operational efficiency and drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead strategy development and large-scale capital expenditure planning to improve operational efficiency and drive profitable growth
- Ensure the integrity of financial results and own monthly actuals & variance, quarterly forecast, and annual budget process for Cement – Operations (Production)
- Build financial capability across the team, supporting understanding of key commercial drivers, productivity, asset efficiency, supply vs. demand, investment, and projects
- Deliver data-driven decision-making support and ensure the business is updated and engaged on the achievement and delivery of financial targets and strategies
- Provide sound financial insight to operations to deliver profitable and sustainable growth across their business unit, including determining cost-effectiveness of growth strategies and ensuring approved capital investments deliver on benefits
- A commercially focused and experienced finance professional with a strong track record of delivering improvement in performance through provision of financial leadership and insight
- A resilient and energized leader who proactively seeks solutions and drives change
- Strong growth mindset with a proven commitment to achieving strong financial, investment, and performance results
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business, Finance, or Economics, with CA/CPA qualifications preferred
- Demonstrated ability to deliver improvement in performance through provision of financial leadership and insight, with a focus on driving profitable growth and operational efficiency
- An attractive salary package reflective of your skills and experience: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
