Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences

As a Customer Banking Specialist with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, you will play a critical role in delivering a seamless banking experience to our customers. You will be the public face of our Retail Banking Services team, working closely with customers to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-depth conversations with customers to understand their overall banking needs
  • Support customers with enquiries, account maintenance, and credit product applications
  • Complete Financial Health Checks to assess customers' financial needs and identify opportunities for growth
  • Provide education and demonstrations of our in-branch technology and digital banking options
  • Problem solve and provide effective solutions while championing our risk-adverse culture

Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service in a financial services, retail, or hospitality environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate financial terms in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, and act with integrity while placing the customer at the centre of everything you do
  • Ability to work in a busy, commercial, and driven retail environment while seeing the big picture for customers and providing holistic solutions
  • Genuine interest in building a career with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and improving the financial wellbeing and lives of our customers
