Role Summary

This is a graduate program designed to equip new speech pathologists with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their role.

The program covers interdisciplinary practice, therapy planning, high-impact interventions, multi-modal communication, and managing complex behaviors.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based therapy and empower participants to overcome barriers and achieve their personal goals.

  • Deliver evidence-based therapy that drives positive outcomes for participants in their homes, workplaces, schools, and communities.
  • Apply the social model to empower participants and help them achieve their personal goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to share insights and create innovative solutions.
  • Build deep relationships with participants and their support networks to create meaningful and sustainable change.
About the Program

The 12-month graduate program includes comprehensive induction, 1:1 clinical supervision, learning frameworks, and professional growth opportunities.

Requirements

Current SPA Registration and recently completed a degree in Speech Pathology.

Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.

A valid driver's license and willingness to work in community settings.
