About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our Digital Customer Experience team for a groundbreaking project focused on digitizing case files across various jurisdictions.

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will work within a collaborative team, partnering with technical and business stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and document key requirements.

Your work will enable technical solutions that meet regulatory standards, align with strategic goals, and ultimately deliver more responsive and accessible services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Engage with diverse stakeholders to translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications, including data mapping and integration requirements.
  • Documentation: Develop detailed data flow diagrams, integration specs, test plans, and other technical documentation to support successful project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with technical specialists, solution architects, and external vendors to evaluate, design, and implement effective solutions that are both compliant and cost-efficient.
  • Process Analysis: Assess and document current and future state business processes to support optimization and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Project Support: Contribute to project planning activities, including requirements gathering, change management, and user acceptance testing to ensure timely and effective delivery.

Requirements

  • Essential:
    • Experience: 5+ years in a Technical Business Analyst role, with proven experience in functional requirements analysis, business process documentation, and customer-centered design.
    • Technical Documentation: Proficiency in data mapping, integration documentation, and experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
    • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated success working with internal stakeholders and vendors to drive outcomes.
    • Design Thinking: Experience with customer journey mapping and human-centered design principles.
    • Project Management: Ability to manage priorities effectively, deliver results under pressure, and work independently.
  • Preferred:
    • Background in government or regulated sectors.
    • Experience with integration platforms such as Pega or similar.
    • Qualifications in Business Analysis, IT, or related fields.
