We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to operate our extrusion plant and associated machinery.

About the Role:

  • Operate the extrusion plant safely and efficiently, ensuring high-quality products meet production requirements.
  • Maintain machinery in good working order through regular maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical issues.
  • Conduct accurate weighing and measuring of ingredients, maintaining inventory records as necessary.
  • Complete production reports accurately and on time.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for systems and processes.
  • Clean equipment and workspace regularly, adhering to safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a cohesive team, promoting efficient operations.

Your Qualifications:

  • Reliable punctuality and availability to work Monday to Wednesday (3x 12-hour shifts).
  • Good physical fitness with safe manual handling skills, able to repetitively lift up to 25kg.
  • Mechanical aptitude with demonstrated experience operating machinery.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, showing initiative and flexibility.
  • Demonstrated commitment to producing high-quality products while adhering to industry standards.
  • Possession of a current driver's licence and reliable transportation.
  • Prior experience with forklift operation is an asset.
