Key Responsibilities:

  • Run B-Double combinations safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
  • Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, adhering to schedules.
  • Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
  • Comply with company/site policies, state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.

Requirements:

  • A valid MC Licence with minimum 2 years' recent Australian driving experience.
  • Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
  • Sound knowledge of regional areas or interstate routes.
  • Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
  • Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
  • Excellent communication, time management skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
