Are you passionate about swimming and eager to share your love for the water with others?

The Coffs Harbour City Council is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Casual Swimming Instructors.

We are looking for people who can create a fun and motivating environment while promoting safety in and around the water.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging swimming lessons
  • Communicating clearly and demonstrating swimming techniques
  • Providing constructive feedback professionally to support and help students improve
  • Maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all participants

The ideal candidate will hold a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification from Austswim, Royal Life Saving or Swim Australia, and have a Current Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) Certificate and Current Working with Children Check.

A strong communication skill set and passion for customer service is essential. You will also be required to maintain accurate lesson administration.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $31.73 per hour plus 25% casual loading, making it a total of $39.68 per hour.
