We are seeking a driven individual to fill the role of Career Development Advisor.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about connecting people with intellectual disability to local job opportunities and supporting them through recruitment, placement, and post-placement care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Bulk relationships with local employers through networking, business development, and outreach efforts to identify job opportunities.
  2. Work one-on-one with participants to understand their goals, address barriers, and develop employment pathways tailored to their needs.
  3. Match participants to suitable roles and provide ongoing support throughout the recruitment process, ensuring seamless placements.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes and documentation aligned with contractual and organisational standards.
  5. Meet performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to placements, customer satisfaction, and business development.
About You:
  • Experience in employment services, recruitment, training, or community services.
  • Proven success in a sales or target-driven environment, showcasing your ability to meet performance targets.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with employers and stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of employer needs and the local labour market, allowing you to effectively match participants to suitable roles.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed team environment, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability.
  • A strong commitment to supporting individuals with intellectual disability or other support needs, with a passion for making a positive impact in your community.
