About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making.

This is an ideal role for individuals who enjoy working with numbers, have strong analytical skills, and are able to communicate complex financial information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead monthly financial reporting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Enhance internal reporting processes and develop analytical tools.
  • Support audits with detailed schedules and variance explanations.
  • Collaborate with accounting staff and provide guidance on financial procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Accounting.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting.
  • CPA designation or progress toward one is an asset.
  • Experience with internal reporting and budgeting practices in a private enterprise.
  • Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of relevant software and systems is an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Positive and creative problem-solving approach.
