About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water Engineer to join our Water team at WSP Global Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing water infrastructure projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage water infrastructure projects, including water treatment plants, pipelines, and reservoirs.
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and clients, to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including hydraulic design, water treatment processes, and system operation.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project partners.
  • Contribute to business development and growth initiatives, including proposal development and client engagement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in water infrastructure project management, with a focus on water treatment and distribution systems.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong technical expertise in water treatment processes, hydraulic design, and system operation.
