Cultural Engagement Officer

Role Overview:
">- We are seeking an experienced Cultural Engagement Officer to join our team and play a key role in advancing the educational and public engagement objectives of our galleries.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our education and programs team to develop and deliver targeted strategies and programs that enhance the community presence of our galleries. This will include coordinating artists, trainees, and volunteers to support public programs and educational activities that align with our mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver education kits, lectures, guided tours, and other resources as directed by the Creative Director Galleries.
- Coordinate artists, trainees, and volunteers to support public programs and educational activities.
- Work collaboratively within the Education and Programs team to plan and deliver initiatives across gallery venues and through outreach in schools, community organisations, and public events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications (Art History, Museum Studies or other relevant arts-related field) and/or substantial experience within an art gallery or museum environment in a similar position.
