Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and punctual Master Woodworker who can work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and trade qualifications, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for constructing, assembling, installing, and dismantling formwork structures and moulds that retain wet concrete. They will also position and assemble steel bars and mesh sheeting with ties to form reinforcement for concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret plans and drawings to ensure accurate formwork assembly
- Construct, assemble, install, and dismantle formwork structures and moulds according to project specifications
- Position and assemble steel bars and mesh sheeting with ties to form reinforcement for concrete structures
- Lifting and carrying materials onsite
- Operate small hand tools such as grinders, drills, and band saws
