About the Role

The Administration Coordinator - Cultural Programs is a key position within Djirra 2020, supporting the delivery of our Cultural Programs. This role reports to the Manager, Cultural Programs and is based in Mildura.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes, tools, and client management systems to support the delivery of Cultural Programs activities.
  • Provide secretariat support to Cultural Programs governance mechanisms, both internal and external.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers to establish and maintain program delivery modalities and content.

Cultural Programs Overview:

  • Yarning About Culture and curated organisational specific training
  • Cultural Conversations (Djirra staff)
  • Cultural Conversations in Session (Judiciary and private legal practitioners)
  • Barristers Cultural Capabilities Program

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in an administrative role
  • A Victorian Employees Working With Children's Check card
  • National Police Check
  • Driver's License

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in an Aboriginal Community Controlled, legal and/or community setting
  • Diploma in business administration (or equivalent qualification)
  • Advanced PC skills, including strong familiarity with MS suite of tools, especially Word and Excel
