Job Opportunity:
">We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker in the area of Social Emotional Wellbeing. This role involves working with youth and families in their social and emotional wellbeing, providing information, education, advocacy, assessments, and brief interventions to encourage and support clients' wellbeing.

">This is an integral role in our commitment to delivering culturally safe and effective mental health and wellbeing services to Aboriginal people. The successful candidate will work in partnership with our multidisciplinary team to achieve this goal.
">Key Responsibilities

- You identify as Aboriginal and have a strong connection to your culture;">
- Experience working with Indigenous people and a proven ability to communicate effectively and in a culturally appropriate manner;">
- Knowledge of current issues, standards and trends in the delivery of mental health and social and emotional wellbeing services to Aboriginal people;">
- Awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal culture and history, including knowledge of issues impacting on Aboriginal children and families, youth and adults;">
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality guidelines and policies;">
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with people from diverse cultures;">
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and resources to deliver outcomes within time and budget considerations.">
Benefits
">This role offers a competitive salary package up to $77,931 per annum, 6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata) and 5 days paid leave during end-of-year shut down (additional to annual leave), career development and training opportunities, and salary packaging up to $15,990 per annum, plus additional packaging options.
