Sustainability Quality Administrator Role

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Quality Administrator to join our team in Sydney. This role will play a vital part in supporting our internal technical quality administrative processes, requiring a unique blend of administrative skills, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Request Administration: Prepare responses to customer inquiries about sustainability, corporate social responsibility, quality, food safety, and product specifications.
- Audit Support: Maintain audit schedules and records, follow up on action plans, and participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Business Project Administration: Develop reports, maintain records, and perform data analysis as directed for ad-hoc project support.
- Routine Reporting: Run reports, analyze data, complete and distribute reports according to schedule, and contribute to developing new data sets and reports as needed.
- Quality Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining quality documentation, ensuring compliance with Visy's internal standards and procedures.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement within the department.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate seamless communication with internal and external stakeholders to provide effective administrative support.
- Experience: At least 2 years in an equivalent administrative role.
- Skillset: Advanced Microsoft Office skills (M365), excellent organizational skills, prioritization, and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge: Understanding of workflows, ability to collate datasets, prepare reports, and communicate technical information effectively.
- Candidate Attributes: Ability to collaborate, influence cross-functional teams, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Internal or Lead Auditor Experience: Exemplar Global certificate or similar recognized certification.
- Maintenance of External Certifications: Familiarity with ISO 9001, CODEX HACCP, GFSI/BRC/SQF.
- Sustainability Metrics: Understanding of APCO reporting requirements.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in a FMCG or Packaging business.
- Sustainability: Contribute to making a positive impact on the environment.
