We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team in Orange and surrounding areas. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently at home, enabling them to maintain their dignity and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients, including showering, dressing, and assisting with daily living activities
- Assist with household cleaning and laundry, meal preparation, and providing respite for carers
- Transport clients to and from appointments and shops, providing social support and companionship
- Assist with complex care needs, working collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
- Valid driver's license and reliable motor vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance
- Excellent verbal communication skills and empathetic, patient, and caring nature
- Ability to work independently in the community, with minimal supervision
- Comprehensive orientation and training, including a fully-funded traineeship program leading to a Certificate III in Individual Support
- Ongoing learning and development support, including access to Employee Assistance Programs and wellness initiatives
- Direct access to a dedicated supervisor for support and guidance
