Job Description

In this pivotal leadership position, you will provide support to the Nurse Unit Manager in guiding nurses in Surgical and Midwifery Ward settings. Promoting continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with other Nurse Unit Managers, you will contribute to the implementation of practice changes and undertake service management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Experience in management and leadership roles
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
