Civil Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering professional to join our team as Manager Technical Services. As a key member of our Engineering Development, Facilities Management and Survey Services teams, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a talented team of professionals to deliver subdivision and development functions, facilities management and development of related engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional engineering expertise, guidance and team leadership in the operation of the Engineering Development, Facilities Management and Survey Services teams.
- Prepare and manage infrastructure engineering programs and projects to achieve objectives within time, cost and quality requirements.
- Monitor, interpret and analyse asset management data captured and stored within Council's information system to ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with audit requirements.
- Provide leadership, advice and support to assist in the planning and design of road safety measures, traffic management and transport related issues.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Experience in a senior management role.
- Highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including experience with people management.
- Local Government experience (desirable).
- A negotiated salary of up to $180,000 (inclusive of car allowance) plus superannuation, dependent on qualifications and experience.
