
Maintenance Planner

We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Geelong, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted and managed in accordance with agreed Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) practices and procedures.
The role involves planning work orders based on priority and end date, establishing with the Operations Management Centre (OMC) if the repair work required is like for like replacement or if engineering changes/Maintenance of Change (MOC) are required. You will also conduct site visits to work areas for planning purposes, determining total scope of work, identifying all resources/disciplines, equipment and materials, and the order of JDE operations to complete work.
Key responsibilities include confirming Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) requirements of repairs with inspection e.g. piping class/Inspection Test Plan (ITP), identifying correct materials for repair work, and consulting with asset engineer and/or reliability engineer if material selection is unclear.
You will be responsible for ordering material and services for work orders based on above by entering either a reservation or requisition onto components tab of work order - communicating with buyers where required and confirming delivery dates are obtainable.
This role requires strong communication skills, both written and oral presentation skills, and the ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships and networks. Experience in leadership and a sound working knowledge of a computerised maintenance management system preferably JDE is essential.

Requirements
- A minimum 3-5 years' experience in a planning and scheduling maintenance role or similar.
- A sound working knowledge of a computerised maintenance management system preferably JDE.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral presentation skills.
- The ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships and networks.
