Job Title: Proactive Services Team Lead


We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Team Lead to join our Proactive Services team at Woolworths Ferntree Gully. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Proactive Services staff, ensuring that all cleaning and trolley collection tasks are completed to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and develop a team to achieve high-quality results in cleaning and trolley collection
  • Create rosters for your team to ensure all daily tasks and operations are covered
  • Work with the Store Leadership teams to identify challenges, areas of opportunity, and upcoming priorities
  • Develop succession plans through coaching to increase team productivity and improve overall satisfaction
  • Complete time and attendance activities for your team members, such as tracking hours, managing absences, and ensuring compliance with company policy
  • Order all consumables for your stores, such as cleaning supplies, and maintain these within a budget
  • Work as part of the Proactive Services Team to provide cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management services

Requirements:



  • Ambitious mindset and a love of retail
  • Flexibility to work in different environments, such as shop floors, fridges, freezers, and carparks
  • A good eye for cleanliness and small details
  • Physical fitness to handle physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to work with other Department Managers and the Store Leadership Team to plan and coordinate routines and timeframes
  • Organisation skills to ensure your team has all the equipment and supplies they need to work safely and efficiently
  • Comfortable working with a regulated framework (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conducts etc)
  • A valid full Australian driver's license (Green P's or full license) for collecting trolleys using our vehicles
