Systems Assurance Program Manager

The System Assurance Lead plays a crucial role in managing the implementation of safety assurance programs and coordinating systems safety requirements to ensure projects follow established processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Resolving complex issues related to safety and risk across multiple projects.
- Managing the system safety program of work, including planning and production of safety assurance deliverables to support project-level safety assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conducting Safety Assurance analysis for project design, including Hazard Identification (HAZID), safety controls, and actions, and producing/reviewing related safety documentation.
- Providing advice and support to projects in demonstrating compliance with relevant systems assurance processes, engineering standards, and technical/user requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess an engineering degree combined with comprehensive knowledge of systems engineering and system safety, along with associated management processes gained at senior level or as a consultant to major projects. Additionally, they should have significant relevant industry experience in risk and safety roles, and skills in safety-related standards such as AS/NZS 4801, ISO/IEC 61508, and EN 50126/8/9.
