About the Role

RUC Cementation Mining Contractors Pty Ltd currently has an opportunity for trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitters to join the maintenance team within the Kalgoorlie workshop, working a 5/2 roster or a 9/5 roster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining underground mobile plant and equipment, including Jumbo's, Boggers, Graders, and Loaders.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults.
  • Dismantling and assembling machine parts, engines, and replacing worn-out parts.
  • Conducting routine inspections and scheduling maintenance of plant equipment.
  • Performing routine lubrication of machine parts, tuning engines, and ensuring machines are working to site compliance.
  • Providing preventive and corrective maintenance as per the maintenance plan.
  • Updating maintenance log books in line with company policies and procedures.

Tickets and Licences Required:

  • Certificate III or higher in Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Technology.
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Able to provide National Police Clearance (within 6 months of commencement).
  • Working Safely at Heights.
  • Hold current Provide First Aid or ability to complete the course.
