About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Analyst to join our team in the Environment, Resources & Decarbonisation economic policy group. As a Policy Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing timely, accurate, and accessible advice on complex economic, financial, and public policy issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and manage projects to inform policy development
  • Communicate with and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate within and outside the team on economic, financial, and public policy projects
  • Contribute to fostering a positive team culture and participate in planning and decision-making in the Group
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in economics, public policy, commerce, law, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in shaping stakeholders' views and supporting informed decision-making on complex issues
  • Conceptual, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, including conveying complex issues persuasively in plain language
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
