Long-term Nanny Position in Balmain, NSW

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced nanny to care for a 2-year-old boy each weekday afternoon in Balmain, NSW.

The ideal candidate will be gentle and child-focused, able to follow the child's cues and interests. They will be calm and intuitive, not into strong discipline but understands boundaries.

The nanny should have experience with toddlers, be happy to cook and do light household support, and comfortable with cats.

  • Pick up the child from daycare at 3:00 pm (10-15 minute walk)
  • Support relaxed, child-led play and interaction at home
  • Prepare and serve dinner for the child
  • Evening wind-down: bath, storytime, bedtime routine
  • Light housework: tidying, grocery shopping, and kitchen organisation

The expectations of the nanny are:

  • 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in childcare
  • Childcare qualifications preferred
  • Toddler Experience
  • Have a current first aid certificate
  • Have a current Working With Children's Check
  • Display strong communication skills and speaks English
  • Non-smoker
