The Tasmania Government is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assessment and Contracts Officer.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring that the Government's procurement activities achieve value for money outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the administration and maintenance of the Department of Treasury and Finance Prequalification Scheme and the Technology Services List.
- Conduct research, investigation, and analysis into contemporary procurement issues and practices.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide timely and accurate advice.
- Support and participate in whole-of-government procurement processes.
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of the Tasmanian Government Purchasing and Tenders websites.
- Prepare a range of written material, including briefings, memorandums, correspondence, and reports.
The Procurement, Risk and Contract Management Branch is responsible for providing advice on and managing the Government's procurement policy and framework.
