Position Overview
As a Duty Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Promptly addressing all guest maintenance requests with professionalism.
- Documenting all maintenance activities, noting completed and pending tasks, and preparing necessary reports for repairs or preventive maintenance schedules.
- Assisting with the daily maintenance needs of the property.
- Performing maintenance on mechanical systems and water distribution to ensure operational reliability.
- Coordinating with various departments to expedite the return of guest rooms and other areas to service.
- Ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained, utilized, and stored.
Candidate Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A self-driven attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and adhere to established procedures.
- Flexibility to work various shifts throughout the week.
- Experience with a range of tools and equipment, including small hand tools.
Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector and relevant trade qualifications are preferred.
