About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Officer to join our team at Central Coast Council. As a key member of our Governance Section, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Council's compliance with legislative requirements and organisational governance matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to the Start Smart Program, ensuring the Council's governance and compliance requirements are met.
  • Assist with reporting for all Governance matters, including policies, delegations, and legislative compliance registers.
  • Proactively release information in accordance with relevant legislation, including the GIPA Act, PPIP Act, and Copyright Act.
About You

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in legislation and compliance, who is passionate about providing support and education on organisational governance matters and programs. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
