Mechanical Trades Technician

Be a key contributor to the Roads and Motorway maintenance team as we undertake trade duties on plant and machinery used for Sydney Harbour Bridge maintenance.

Conduct thorough safety checks on all plant used, perform routine maintenance tasks such as refuelling and checking fluid levels, and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure safe operation of equipment.

Collaborate closely with experienced technicians, following instructions and embracing ongoing training opportunities where required.

About this role:

As a skilled Mechanical Trades Technician, you will possess a strong foundation in mechanical trades and be eager to gain entry-level experience working with complex plant and machinery.

While prior exposure is beneficial, comprehensive training will be provided to support your growth in this role.

Key skills and qualifications include good communication and safety awareness, with Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Confined Space, and Working at Heights certification highly regarded but not essential.
