Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication and Assembly Specialist to join our engineering team at the Craigieburn depot. As a key member, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant diagnosis, examination, servicing, overhaul, and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and mechatronic components.

The role involves overhauling complex door operating mechanisms, working to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices, examining, servicing, maintaining, overhauling, and testing mechanical, pneumatic, and mechatronic components, diagnosing faults, assisting with investigations and non-conformances, accurately completing electronic and paper documentation, and contributing to engineering development projects by providing technical support and expertise.

About You:

  • You have a Mechanical or Mechatronic trade or tertiary qualification.
  • You have 5+ years relevant industrial experience, including mechatronic component maintenance, servicing, and overhaul.
  • You can read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of material.
