UGL is proud to be part of the Esso Decommissioning Project in the Bass Strait, a significant undertaking in Australia's oil and gas industry. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team and contribute to this project's success.

This is an exciting opportunity for a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with a minimum of 5 years' experience in oil and gas to work on a large-scale decommissioning project. The ideal candidate will have experience with diagnostics, fault finding, and maintenance of heavy diesel engines, pumps, and generators.

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following skills and attributes:

About You:

  • Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in oil and gas
  • Experience with diagnostics, fault finding, and maintenance of heavy diesel engines, pumps, and generators
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand plans, diagrams, drawings, and specifications
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Great time management skills
  • Ability to work within a team and unsupervised
  • Genuine concern for safety
