The Role:
As a Regional Facilities Manager, you will oversee the operational functions of a portfolio of shopping centers throughout Queensland. Your responsibilities will include ensuring operational safety, performance, and compliance. You will also monitor, support, and lead operational activities within your designated region, ensuring the assets are protected and enhanced.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance Program
- Provide technical and maintenance advice
- Conduct regular inspections of properties
- Assist and manage the Operations team
- Drive Sustainability goals
- Day to day management of operations
- Act as the primary escalation point for property operations
- Maintain positive tenant relationships
- Procure and tender services
- Manage and maintain accurate plant and equipment register
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification or diploma in Facilities Management
- Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical engineering or plumbing
- Technical and soft services contractor procurement & management experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in property and real estate
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Experience and understanding of project management & capital delivery
- Ability to lead & motivate a team
- Forensic attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and sustain key stakeholder relationships
