Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Coordinator to join our team at the University of New South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a prestigious project, leveraging your expertise in project management to deliver outstanding results.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing all aspects of the Wellcome Leap In Utero project. This will include developing project planning documentation, identifying and building project teams, and overseeing the project lifecycle.

You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and quality assurance. Your advanced written and verbal communication skills, combined with your high level of attention to detail, will enable you to produce high-quality deliverables.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proven project management experience, with an in-depth understanding of the project life cycle and strategic development of project plans, objectives, and documentation.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
  • Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
  • High level of experience working with a range of computer systems and applications, including those related to UNSW finance, grant management, and reporting.
