About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to build your expertise in the management of spinal cord-injured patients, including complete and incomplete traumatic injuries. As a key member of the Victorian Spinal Cord Injury Service, you will have the opportunity to work in a highly experienced, specialised state-wide service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing excellent clinical care to people with spinal cord injuries
  • 1:1 and group sessions, including aquatic therapy
  • Complex seating and equipment prescription
  • Complex discharge planning including NDIS and TAC processes
  • Supervision of Physiotherapy student placements in spinal rehabilitation unit
About You

You will have excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You'll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.

  • Current registration for practice with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Physiotherapist.

  • Experience in either acute or subacute spinal cord injured patients.
  • Enjoy working as part of a large multidisciplinary team.
