Contingency Anaesthetists Wanted for Mornington Peninsula

We are seeking skilled anaesthetists to join our contingency on-call roster at a major private hospital in the Mornington Peninsula, VIC. This is a unique opportunity to secure flexible after-hours work with clear expectations and fair compensation.
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing emergency anaesthetics services for various specialties, including Orthopaedics, Plastics, Urology, and General Surgery. They will also have the opportunity to retain full billings for weekend cases, which can be lucrative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency anaesthetics services for overnight presentations
- Work in a fully equipped 24/7 ICU and ED environment
- Retain full billings for weekend cases
Benefits:
- A competitive fixed rate of $1,500 midweek and $3,000 weekends

Requirements:
- Degree in Medicine and current registration as an anaesthetist
