Western Downs Regional Council is a dynamic organization committed to delivering quality services to its communities. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team in Miles.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining Council's roads and infrastructure across the region. This includes operating civil construction and maintenance plant, with a focus on slashers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality operating skills on civil construction and maintenance plant;
• Adhere to safe work practices;
• Complete allocated tasks within agreed time frames.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A current C Class Driver's Licence (HR advantageous);
• A Construction Induction White Card;
• A strong awareness of relevant safety standards and requirements;
• Good time management skills and the ability to work within a team;
• Possess knowledge of the MUTCD and its application (desirable);
• Be physically fit and enjoy manual labour.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
