The Plant and Rebuild team is looking for a skilled Mechanical Rebuild Technician to join their ranks. Your primary responsibility will be the rebuild and refurbishment of thermal power generation engines in our custom build facility in Kewdale. Key tasks include thorough inspections, performance testing, and maintaining detailed records.

  • Execute engine rebuilds, overhauls, and refurbishments according to company procedures and standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to assess the condition of components, identifying areas requiring repair or replacement.
  • Validate the integrity and efficiency of rebuilt engines through performance testing.
  • Maintain detailed equipment and engine records in accordance with workshop procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor to optimize engine performance and longevity.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area at all times.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training programs, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

About the Role:

  • Mechanical trade qualification, preferably with experience in engine reconditioning and maintenance.
  • Competency in delivering high-quality work in a workshop environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • C Class Driving License.
  • Willingness to learn and apply new technologies.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to build and maintain cohesive relationships.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
