We are looking for a skilled procurement professional to join our team as an Assistant Director. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the organization by leading a small team and delivering high-quality procurement advice and support.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for supervising a team of procurement professionals and ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks, rules, and policies.
  • Provide expert advice and assurance on procurement and contract processes, including the development and review of procurement plans, contracts, and evaluations.
  • Manage the development and continuous improvement of procurement policies and processes in consultation with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Commonwealth Government procurement framework and experience undertaking end-to-end procurement. They will also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of procurement principles and practices.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team to achieve results within a high-performance environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
