We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Administrator to join our team at Ventia Pty Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial services to our clients, including administrative activities.
About the RoleThe Senior Finance Administrator role is a critical position within our organization, requiring strong financial management skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Assisting with month-end consolidations, including allocating costs relevant to work orders and general journals
- Providing payroll and system cost/sell rate support
- Overseeing end-to-end subcontractor management, including contracts, reporting, registers, dockets, records, payments, invoices, and VisRes management
- Performing general office administration tasks, such as overseeing stationery, utilities, kitchen supplies, uniforms, travel, accommodation, mail, meeting room schedules, and providing leadership to finance administrators
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accounts payable and receivable

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (commerce or accounting preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, SAP, and Ariba
- A good understanding of accruals, accounts payable/receivable, and sound administrative skills
- Professional interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience leading a small team
- Supply management/subcontractor management experience
