Flight Attendant Opportunity

Rex Airlines is a regional airline operating in Australia. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as full-time solo flight attendants based in Albury.

About the Role:

  • This is an opportunity to work on weekends, public holidays, shifts with early starts and late finishes, and some nights away from home.
  • You will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment checks
  • In-flight announcements
  • Food and beverage service
  • Cleaning duties
  • Handling situations independently in the cabin

Requirements:

  1. Be 18 years of age or over
  2. Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  3. Height no taller than 173 cm
  4. Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
  5. Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (completed within the last 3 years)
  6. Demonstrate that you have:
  • Completed at least 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or
  • Worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or
  • Worked in the UK, Ireland, or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or
  • Completed IELTS with an overall grade of 5.5
Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), which involves a police security checkPassion for the role and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer serviceAbility to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device (swim assessment required)Flexibility to work varying hours, including during holidays and peak periodsHigh level of personal presentationNatural willingness to care for and please people
