Laboratory Technician Position
Wagners Construction Materials Laboratory is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to support our growing team at Wellcamp QLD.
This opportunity will allow a successful individual to expand their knowledge and work with an industry leader in the construction materials field.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sampling of concrete and aggregates to recognised and approved methods
- Conduct testing in accordance with Australian Standards and Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads test methods
- Organise daily field testing
- Compile and dispatch records
- Maintain accurate data of records for samples and test results
- Ensure compliance with project guidelines, procedures, and systems through sampling products and testing/calibrations
- Identify opportunities for improvement and non-conformance reporting requirements
About the Role
- Essential experience and knowledge in construction materials testing and sampling of concrete
- Desirable Cert III or IV in Laboratory Techniques
- Strong communication skills to interact with management, customers, and personnel
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Ability to prioritise work and work under pressure
- Current Manual Driver's Licence and Construction card
