Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team as an Assembly Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling heavy mining machinery and installing componentry, as well as undertaking mechanical fitting and other technical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble heavy mining machinery and install componentry with precision and attention to detail
  • Undertake mechanical fitting and other technical tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Test assembled equipment and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols

Requirements

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Diesel Mechanics
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience or demonstrable experience in the field
  • Strong communication and computer literacy skills
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
  • Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to company policies
