Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to oversee and manage all warehouse operations. This entails ensuring safe, efficient, and timely coordination of freight, stock, consumables, and documentation.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and delegate tasks within a fast-paced mining services environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Morning Pre-Start Meetings and Allocate Daily Tasks: Conduct daily morning pre-start meetings to allocate tasks to team members and ensure smooth operation of the warehouse.
  • Ensure Completion of Workshop Inspections, Field Interaction Forms, Take 5's, and Hazard Reports: Monitor and verify completion of required forms and reports by team members.
  • Check, Confirm, and Submit Time Sheets, Holiday Forms, and Sick Leave Forms: Verify accuracy of submitted time sheets, holiday forms, and sick leave forms.
  • Oversee Receipting of Goods and Requisitions for Transport in/out of Stores: Manage receipting of goods and requisitions for transport in and out of stores.
  • Manage and Order Store Supplies, Consumables, and Forklift Gas: Plan and execute procurement of necessary supplies, consumables, and forklift gas.
  • Coordinate Freight Collections/Deliveries with Required Documentation (Con Notes, OGA, ETA Updates, Freight Images): Coordinate freight collections and deliveries while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Schedule and Manage Cleanaway Bin Collections (Weekly/Monthly) and Waste Management Requirements: Arrange cleanaway bin collections and manage waste disposal requirements.
  • Track and Transfer Stock Items (Seats, Pumps, Torque Tools, etc.) Between Suppliers, Repairers, and Sites: Monitor and transfer stock items between suppliers, repairers, and sites as needed.
  • Conduct Regular Stocktakes and Maintain Stock Control of Repair Items: Perform regular stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Manage and Sort Site Back Freight; Notify Personnel for Collection of Personal Items: Organize site back freight and notify personnel about personal item collection.
  • Liaise with Site Maintenance Managers Regarding Parts/Components for Repair and Return: Collaborate with maintenance managers for parts and components related to repair and return.
  • Process and Maintain Accurate Order Numbers, Return Numbers, and Documentation for Core/Reman Parts: Verify accuracy of order numbers, return numbers, and documentation for core and reman parts.
  • Delegate Warehouse and Logistics Tasks to the Team to Ensure Smooth Operations: Assign tasks to team members to maintain efficient warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate Closely with Purchasing and Workshop Teams for Parts, Goods, and Deliveries: Work closely with purchasing and workshop teams for procurement of parts, goods, and deliveries.
  • Maintain Accurate Records and Update Component Folders with Pictures, Job Numbers, and Repair Details: Keep accurate records and update component folders with relevant information.
