Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Danfoss. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in assigned areas, developing and implementing sales plans, and building a comprehensive customer database.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales growth targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Research and scope technical solutions to meet customer needs, recommending solutions that optimize value and satisfaction
  • Identify and target new customers, growing the existing customer base
  • Participate in tender documentation and submissions, preparing and delivering product demonstrations and solution presentations
  • Collaborate with sales and technical staff to ensure opportunities are followed up and progressed

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of VSDs and their applications
  • Experience in the Water and Heavy Industry
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or extensive electrical background
  • Proven technical sales experience in acquiring new business and maintaining relationships
  • Exceptional communication and strong grasp of English in both verbal and written form
  • Customer service oriented, good interpersonal skills, and team player
  • Current driver's license, experience in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM advantageous
